PRAYER: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of Constitution of India, to issue a direction directing the learned Family Judge, Nagercoil, to dispose the divorce Petition in I.D.O.P.No.452 of 2023, on the file of said court within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court. ORDER

The petitioner in I.D.O.P.No.452 of 2023, on the file of the Family Court, Nagercoil, has filed the present revision petition seeking expeditious disposal of his divorce petition.

2.A perusal of the records reveals that so far, the respondent has not filed her counter and it is being adjourned for the past two years. 3.Considering the pendency of more than 3000 cases before the Family Court, Nagercoil, this Court cannot fix a time limit for disposal of the divorce petition. However, the Family Court, Nagercoil, is directed to dispose of the divorce petition as expeditiously as possible. 4.With the above said observations, this Civil Revision Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
