Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a writ of Habeas Corpus directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to secure the detenue and produce the person or body of the detenue the Petitioner s husband namely Murugesan S/o Sankar aged about 42 years before this Honourable HIgh Court and him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) One Balakrishnammal has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that her husband, namely, Murugesan aged about 42 years was found missing from 16.07.2016. Pursuant to which, a complaint has been given and the 2nd respondent also registered a case in Crime No.158/2016 for 'man missing'.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the investigation is under progress. The said statement is recorded. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. In view of the said submission, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with a direction to the respondent police to expedite the investigation.
