ORDER
[Order of the Court was made by R.SURESHKUMAR, J.] Though this Contempt Petition is filed for the alleged disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.(MD)No.26330 of 2022, dated 22.11.2022, today, when the matter is taken up for hearing at the admission stage, Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who took notice on behalf of the respondent, submitted that the petitioner / convict has already been released by way of premature release by considering the judgment of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India made in Crl.A.No.1389 of 2023, dated 04.05.2023. Therefore, the prayer sought for in the Writ Petition since has also been complied with, this Contempt Petition can be closed, he contended. 2.The said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent is not controverted by the learned counsel for the petitioner, as the petitioner / convict has already been released.
