(Order of the Court was made by J. NISHA BANU, J.) By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself. Considering the limited relief sought by the petitioner, notice to the sixth respondent is dispensed with. 2/6

The grievance of the petitioner is that her representation dated 04.11.2024, seeking removal of the alleged illegal encroachment made by the sixth respondent in Survey No.136/16, Thiruvidanallur Revenue Village, Tiruchuli Taluk, Virudhunagar District and for cancellation of the patta recommendation and removal of the sixth respondent from the beneficiary list (Serial No.98) for the free house site Scheme, as well as for initiation of appropriate disciplinary proceedings against officials abetting such encroachments, has been kept pending till date without any progress. Therefore, she has filed this Writ Petition seeking the aforesaid relief. 3.The learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 submits that there are encroachments and that the authority concerned is taking steps to remove them. He further submits that the encroachments will be removed within the time stipulated by this Court.
4.In view of the above submissions, we direct the respondents 1 to 5 to remove the encroachments, after giving sufficient opportunity of personal hearing to both the petitioner and the sixth respondent, on merits and in 3/6
accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
