Criminal original petition petition filed under section 482 Criminal Procedure to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Cr.No.2 of 2021 on the file of the 1st respondent and quash the same as illegal in so far as the petitioner is concerned ORDER:- This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/s.K.Sanjai Gandhi Govt Advocate, Advocate for the Petitioner, this Court made the following order: This Petition has been filed to extend time for a further period of six months to file the final report in CBCID South, Tirunelveli District (crime No.2 of 2021) as directed by this Court in Crl.M.P.(MD).No.9347 of 2024 in Crl.O.P.(MD).No.2741 of 2022, dated 05.09.2024.
2. Mr.K.Sanjai Gandhi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the petitioner-Police submits that A19, A20 and A21 are Government servants. Since they are Government servants, sanction to be obtained. The investigating agency is taking steps to get sanction order from the competent authority. Therefore, the investigating agency could not complete the investigation within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. Accordingly, he seeks three months time to comply with the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 2741 of 2022, dated 05.09.2024. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the
reasons stated in the petition, this petition is ordered and time is extended till 30.07.2025 to comply the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD) No. 2741 of 2022, dated 05.09.2024. It is made clear that no further extension of time will be granted.
