ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent Police for the offences under Sections 498(A) and 406 I.P.C. in Crime No.1 of 2018.

2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. side) appearing for the respondent.

3.The marital relationship between the petitioner and the de facto complainant is broken down completely. A female child has been born to them.

4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instructions from the petitioner undertakes that a sum of Rs.18,000/- (Rupees Eighteen Thousand only) shall be remitted in the bank account of the de facto complainant every month before 10th day towards maintenance. This of course will not preclude from working out her rights in accordance with law, before the competent Court. This is only an interim arrangement, so as to put the petitioner on terms.

5.Subject to this condition, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Additional Mahila Court, Madurai and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation.
