The present writ petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from appointing Maniakarar in A/M.Pangajavalli Sametha Sengamalakanna Perumal (Pundarikasha Perumal) Temple at Thiruvellarai of Trichy District on public tender basis.

2.It is seen that the petitioner has already approached the respondents by way of his representation dated 29.07.2014. Since no order has been passed so far, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief.

3.Considering the limited prayer sought for in this writ petition and without going into the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29.07.2014 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving sufficient opportunity to all the parties concerned as expeditiously as possible. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
