Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme(i.e.) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Baghavathiamman and Sri Maduraiveeran Swamy Chithirai at Kunnuvarankottai Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District scheduled to be held on 13.05.2015 and pass such further or other orders as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary protection to perform the cultural programme(i.e.) Adal Padal on the eve of Arulmigu Sri Baghavathiamman and Sri Maduraiveeran Swamy Chithirai at Kunnuvarankottai Village, Nilakkottai Taluk, Dindigul District scheduled to be held on 13.05.2015.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has given representation to the respondent on 08.05.2015. However, the respondent has not given any permission to the writ petitioner so far. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I feel it is just and proper

to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 8.5.2015. Accordingly, I direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 8.5.2015 and pass appropriate orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, immediately on production of the copy of this order.

4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
