CORAM
THE HON'BLE MR.JUSTICE P.B.BALAJI Bose : Petitioner Vs.
1.The District Revenue Officer, Nilakkottai, Dindigul.
2.The District Revenue Officer, Nilakottai, Dindigul.
3.The Tahsildar, Nilakottai, Dindigul.
: Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent from issuing patta pending disposal of appeal before the first respondent in respect of survey number 434/15B Kombai Village, Nilakottai.

For Petitioner : Ms.P.Malini For Respondents : Mrs.K.Malathi Additional Government Pleader
O R D E R
Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
2.The petitioner's grievance is that the order cancelling the petitioner's patta was passed on 26.02.2025 and the said order was communicated only on 15.03.2025. Thereafter, the petitioner appears to have filed a statutory appeal before the first respondent. The apprehension of the petitioner is that taking advantage of the cancellation of patta, the private parties are attempting to mutate the patta in their names and have approached the third respondent in that regard.
3.In view of the above, the Writ Petition is disposed of, granting four [4] weeks time to the petitioner to move an interlocutory application before the first respondent in the pending 2/5
appeal. In the meantime, the third respondent shall not effect any mutation. There shall be no order as to costs. 24.04.2025 Index :Yes / No Internet : Yes / No NCC : Yes/No MR 3/5
