Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection to celebrate Dr.Ambedkar's 125th BIrthday Anniversary from 17.05.2015 to 20.05.2015 by distributing sweets, conducting Anna Dhanam, Relay with Torch from Dr.Ambedkar Statue, Kovilpatti to Kuruvikulam Village and other sports and cultural programmes at Divan Bhadur Dhada Rettaimalai Seenivasan Thidal, Kuruvikulam Village, Sankarankovil Taluk, Tirunelveli District and pass such other order as this Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to direct the respondents to grant permission and adequate police protection to celebrate Dr.Ambedkar's 125th Birthday Anniversary from 17.05.2015 to 20.05.2015 by distributing sweets, conducting Anna Dhanam, Relay with Torch from Dr.Ambedkar Statue, Kovilpatti to Kuruvikulam Village and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 04.05.2015. However, the respondent has not given any permission to the writ petitioner so far.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I feel it is just and proper to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 4.5.2015. Accordingly, I direct the fifth respondent to consider the representation dated 4.5.2015 and pass appropriate orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, within two days from the date of production of copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
