ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.) This writ petition styled as Public Interest Litigation has been filed to forbear the 4th respondent from constructing a Community Hall in Survey No.400 of Vanniyanviduthi Village, Araipatti Post, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukottai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 16.02.2015.

2.The petitioner would state that the land chosen for construction of a community hall is a 'Vaari Poramboke' and therefore, no construction should be commenced in the said land. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader, on instructions from the respondent, submitted that there is no Vaari Poramboke and a Certificate to the said effect has been issued by the Village Administrative Officer dated 07.04.2015. Further, a copy of the 'A' Register produced shows that the land in S.No.400 is a Government Poramboke land. In such circumstances, the relief sought for in the writ petition cannot be granted.

4. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
