ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner is in judicial custody since 16.07.2018 for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148 and 188 IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.287 of 2018, on the file of the respondent police. He seeks bail.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the respondent produced a video clipping, in which the petitioner is seen indulging in an act of violence.

3.This Court cannot condone any act of violence, even if it https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ is committed in the name of a public cause. Such acts trigger a vicious cycle of violence. Since the petitioner has been shown to

have taken part in an act of violence, this Court is constrained to dismiss this bail petition. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
