Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 3 to lay the road between Bharathi Anna Nagar to Vilpatti Village at Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District within a stipulated time.

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the respondents to lay the road between Bharathi Anna Nagar to Vilpatti Village at Kodaikanal Taluk, Dindigul District.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that for the purpose of laying road, appropriate permission is sought for from the Forest Department by https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the respondents and if such permission is granted, further steps will be taken to lay the road. The said statement is recorded.
