O R D E R

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police to file a final report in Cr.No.619 of 2021 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The petitioner is the defaco complainant in Cr.No.619 of 2021, which was registered for the offence punishable under Section 380 IPC on 15.06.2021.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that the jewel involved in this case is about 17 sovereigns and even after the lapse of one month, there is no progress in the investigation.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that ten witnesses have been examined and the suspect has also been inquired, but, so far, no clue is obtained. Therefore, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor requests this Court that five months time may be granted to file a final report before the concerned Court.

5. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9095 of 2021 with a direction to the second respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of five months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
