O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by N.ANAND VENKATESH, J.] This Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant 28 days ordinary leave to the petitioner's son, namely Vasanthakumar, S/o. Moorthy, PID No.241844, aged about 32 years, who is a convict prisoner, now confined at Central Prison, Trichy.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor produced the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 08.04.2026, wherein the request made by the petitioner for grant of ordinary leave to his son has been rejected. A copy of the proceedings was also served on the learned counsel for the petitioner.

3. In view of the above development, no further order can be passed. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the same, it is left open to the

petitioner to challenge the proceedings in the manner known to law.

4. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above liberty. No costs.
