PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents No.1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the annual festival of Arulmigu Sri Aadhi Shakthi Gowmariamman Temple festival scheduled to be held from 18.04.2023 to 26.04.2023 in Anumanthanpatty Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District or any subsequent periods as per the permission order dated 15.04.2023 issued by the 3rd respondent police. O R D E R This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents No.1 to 3 to provide adequate protection to the annual festival of Arulmigu Sri Aadhi Shakthi Gowmariamman Temple festival scheduled to be held from 18.04.2023 to 26.04.2023 in Anumanthanpatty Village, Uthamapalayam Taluk, Theni District or any subsequent periods as per the permission order dated 15.04.2023 issued by the 3rd respondent police.

2. Even though, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the above said trouble still continuous, since the festival was over yesterday itself, the matter has become infructuous. If the petitioner get any trouble at the hands of the third respondent in future, he can workout his remedy through appropriate proceedings.

3. With the above said liberty, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
