.The petitioner seeks grant of agricultural electricity service connection for the petition mentioned land. The grievance of the petitioner is that he had complied with all the formalities and had also executed the letter of readiness and willingness. According to the petitioner, TANGEDCO officials had not correctly applied the queue principle and in order to wriggle out of the consequences want the petitioner to once again execute one more letter of readiness and willingness.
.It is not necessary for this Court to investigate as to whether there has been any default on the part of the respondents. The fact remains that the writ petition was filed only in July 2021. The learned standing counsel states that immediately after the petitioner furnishes the letter of readiness and willingness, subject to other formalities, the agricultural electricity service connection to the petition mentioned land would be given immediately and without any delay.
.Recording the said submission, the writ petitioner is directed to execute one more letter of readiness and willingness to the fourth respondent. The respondents 2 to 5 shall ensure that the agricultural electricity service 3/6
connection is provided to the petitioner for the petition mentioned land within a period of four weeks thereafter.
.The writ petition is allowed accordingly. No costs. 25.07.2022 Index : Yes / No Internet : Yes/ No ias 4/6
