O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct survey and demarcate the boundaries of the land in Survey Nos.5/2A and 5/2B, comprised in Patta Nos.667 and 219, totally measuring 1 acre 99 cents situated at Malliyampattu Village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy District.

2. Originally, the property belonged to the husband of the petitioner and his brother. They had orally partitioned the property earlier. The brother of the husband of the petitioner had sold his portion. Unfortunately, the husband of the petitioner had died. Now, the petitioner seeks to survey the land. Necessary application had been made and payment has also been made.

3. In view of the same, a direction is issued to the respondents to issue notice to the petitioner and if required, issue notice to the purchaser 2/4

of portion from the brother of husband of the petitioner and thereafter, if satisfied, proceed to survey the land. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
