O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to dispose of the appeal in Na.Ka.No.A4/535471 within a reasonable period of time.
2. In the cause title, the first respondent had been shown as District Revenue Officer, Pudukottai District. However, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioner that notice for enquiry had been issued by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Pudukottai.
3. In view of the same, suo motu the name of the first respondent is corrected from the District Revenue Officer to the Revenue Divisional Officer. Before issuing the order copy, the Registry may carry out the necessary amendment and issue order copy.

4. It is stated by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on written instruction, that the first respondent would dispose of the appeal pending within a period of 12 weeks.
5. The first respondent may take note of the principles of natural justice which must be followed and issue notice to the contesting parties and thereafter, the appeal may be disposed of. A direction is given that every endeavor should be made to dispose of the appeal within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In view of the nature of direction given that every contesting parties should be issued with notice, this Writ Petition is disposed of without issuing notice to the respondents 2 to 5.
