*********** [Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.] The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that her daughter by name M.Vanathi, aged about 21 years has been found missing from 25.10.2016. A complaint has been given to the 2nd respondent Police. As no action was taken by the 2nd respondent, she has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

3. This matter was taken up for hearing today, at the request of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor. The second respondent Police produced the detenu viz.,M.Vanathi before this Court. During the course of hearing, the petitioner wanted to talk with the detenu and therefore, we gave permission to talk with her daughter. After one hour, when the matter was again called, the detenu told that she married the third respondent and that she wants to go with her husband. She has further stated that she was not illegally detained by anybody.
4.Since the detenu is a major, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed giving liberty to the detenu to choose her own way of life. Sd/- Assistant Registrar (RTI) /True Copy/ Sub Assistant Registrar gcg To 1.The Commissioner of Police, Madurai City.
