This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the first and second respondents to provide electricity connection to the borewell of the petitioner situated at S.No. 156/1B by considering the representation made by the petitioner in this regard.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondents.

3.The learned standing counsel appearing for the first and second respondents submitted that the petitioner has not submitted a formal application in this regard and as and when an online application is submitted by the petitioner, the same will be considered and a decision will be taken.

4. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh online application to the second respondent seeking for electricity connection to the borewell of 2/4

the petitioner and on receipt of the same, the second respondent shall enquire the petitioner and the third respondent and shall take a decision within a period of four weeks from the date of submission of the application by the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
