Respondents Prayer:Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., to direct the 1st Respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the basis of an enquiry conducted in crime case related to some theft said to have taken place in the jurisdiction of the above said respondents for which the 1st Respondent often orally summoning the petitioner and also not to threaten to foist false cases.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the 1st Respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. On 14.07.2021, a submission was made by the learned counsel for the petitioner to the effect that he is doing car broker business. During the course of business transaction, he sold a Car to one Durai @ Duraisingam. In turn, he sold the same to one Mariappan and Karthik. The above said Karthick, involved in robbery case. During the investigation, he stated before the Enquiry Officer that by using the looted money, Car was purchased from the Durai @ Duraisingam, who in turn, purchased the same from the petitioner. Only on that ground, he is implicated in this crime. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor was directed to get https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

4. When the matter taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that no complaint and no enquiry is pending against the petitioner and there is no question of Officer threaten to foist false case.

5. Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, as no more direction is required.
