ORDER

The petitioner has filed this petition to quash the FIR in Crime No.59 of 2017 pending on the file of the first respondent Police.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that except the FIR, there are no other documents before the concerned Judicial Magistrate. To that effect, he has also relied on the endorsement made by the learned Judicial Magistrate (FAC), Thanjavur, in the copy application in C.P.No.185 of 2023.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that the investigation has been completed and the final report is made ready, however, inadvertently, the respondent Police has not filed the final report.

4. Considering the said submission, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent Police to 2/4

file the final report within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the final report, if he is having any grounds. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
