O R D E R

This present Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to give adequate protection to the petitioner and his family members for their life and limb, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 29.07.2020.

2. Today when the petition is came up for hearing, Mr.S.Chandrasekar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that upon receipt of the representation given by the petitioner, dated 29.07.2020, the 2nd respondent herein initiated an enquiry in C.S.R.No.222 of 2020 and the same has been closed on 01.08.2020. In this regard, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would specifically state that during the time of enquiry, both the petitioner and his rival party undertake to resolve their disputes, by approaching the civil Court. The said submission is recorded.

3. In view of the above, no further orders is necessary in this Writ Petition. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs.
