ORDER

The present petition has been filed by the accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.11 of 2023, on the file of the first respondent police, seeking to quash the F.I.R, wherein the petitioners are alleged to have committed offences under Sections 406, 420 and 120(B) of I.P.C. 2.Pending investigation, the parties have entered into a compromise, wherein the defacto complainant has agreed for quashing of the F.I.R.

3.Today, the defacto complainant is present in person and has acknowledged the fact that he had agreed for quashing of the F.I.R. 2/5

4.As per paragraph 5 of the joint compromise memo, the petitioners have today handed over a banker's cheque in favour of the defacto complainant for a sum of Rs.15 lakhs. This fact has been acknowledged by the defacto complainant.

5.In view of the above said facts, F.I.R in Crime No.11 of 2023, on the file of the first respondent police stands quashed. 6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed. The memo of joint compromise shall form part and parcel of the order. 16.04.2026 NCC : Yes/No Index : Yes/No ps Note: Issue Order Copy on 16.04.2026.
