This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.926 of 2017 for offences under Section 420 of IPC on the file of the second respondent police, within a period that may be stipulated by this Court.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents seeks three [3] months time to submit the final report before the concerned jurisdictional Court.
