ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The mother of the detenu by name Shiny Pradeeba, aged about 20 years, has come with this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that the respondents 3 to 7 abducted the detenu for conducting illegal marriage with the 7th respondent. In this regard, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case has also been registered in Crime No.381 of 2016. Thereafter, there was no progress. Hence, she has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the second respondent produced the detenu. The petitioner was also present. On enquiry, the detenu told that she was not kidnapped or illegally detained by any body and that she voluntarily left the house. She has also expressed her willingness to go along with the petitioner. The said statement is recorded. 3.

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with liberty to the detenu to choose her own way of life.
