The petitioner seeks permission to conduct "Vadamadu Manjuvirattu" on 04.05.2025 and to provide police protection.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader states that the petitioner's village is not a notified village, and recently the respondents have received the request for notification.

3. Considering the above-said fact, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondents to consider the representation, if any, received for notifying the petitioner's village for conducting "Vadamadu Manjuvirattu" and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, preferably within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
