The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue legal heirship certificate on the basis of the application submitted on 23.6.2014 in accordance with law within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. Mr.S.Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

issuance of legal heirship certificate is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 23.06.2014 for issuance of legal heirship certificate, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
