[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed by the husband of the detenu, seeking a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the person or body of the detenu, namely, M.Sudha, aged about 23 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.
2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner admitted that the detenu died on 02.12.2016. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents 1 and 2 also confirmed the same by producing a copy of the postmortem certificate dated 03.12.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the Habeas Corpus Petition. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
