This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1, to provide relief amount to the petitioner under the Chief Minister Uzhavar Padhukappu Scheme.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent No.1, to provide relief amount to the petitioner under the Chief Minister Farmers' Protection Scheme. (for short 'the Scheme').
2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is in need of financial assistance for his ailing son of the petitioner, to which, he has already made a representation on 17.05.2015 ventilating his grievance. Still, it did not evoke any response, he has come forward with the present Writ Petition.
3. Upon notice, the learned Govt.Advocate would submit that the case of the petitioner will be considered by the respondents, on merits.
4. A perusal of the documents would show that the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ has lost his mother in an accident. Since the farmers are the backbone of our Country and in order to protect such community, the Government
has formulated such Scheme, timely help is essential in such type of matters. Further, the Scheme is also meant for to meet out the emergent situation of the farmers. The petitioner has specifically averred that his son is suffering from heart disease and any delay would cause peril to the petitioner's son. Therefore, as per the said Scheme, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders, by considering the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.05.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
