Respondents PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the entire records, connected with the detention order of the respondent No.2 in detention order No.25/2016/C3, dated 14.11.2016 and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the detenu by name Kuruvi @ Manikandan, son of Selvam, aged about 26 years, now detained at Madurai Central Prison before the Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

dated 14.11.2016, passed against the detenu, by name, Kuruvi @ Manikandan, son of Selvam, aged about 26 years, has been revoked by the Government vide G.O.Rt.No.267, Home, Prohibition & Excise (XI) Department, dated 20.01.2017, and he has also produced a copy of the said Government Order.
