ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- In Crl.O.P(MD).Nos.12867 to 12906, 12955 to 12959, 13007 to 13011 and 13027 to 13051 of 2018 the petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under

Sections 147, 148, 188, 353, 436, 506(ii) of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.not known of 2018 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

2.In Crl.O.P(MD).Nos.12911 and 12931 of 2018 the petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 188, 353, 506(ii) of IPC and Section 3 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.190 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail.

3.In Crl.O.P(MD).No.12912 of 2018 the petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 188, 436 of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.not known of 2018, seek anticipatory bail. 4.In Crl.O.P(MD).No.12921 of 2018 the petitioner apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 353, 188 and 506(ii) of IPC and Sections 3 and 4 of TNPPDL Act in Crime No.270 of 2018, seek anticipatory bail. 5.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Advocate General for the respondents. 6.The above cases pertain to the Ante-sterlite protest. This Court has granted anticipatory bail to the similarly placed persons with certain conditions. The learned Additional Advocate General appearing for the State submitted that this Court may impose such conditions in these cases also.

4.Therefore, taking into account the facts and circumstances of the cases, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioners are ordered to be released on bail in the event of arrest or on their appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Thoothukudi and on their executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two common sureties covering all

their respective cases for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and on further condition that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required for interrogation. The petitioners shall not indulge in Ante- sterlite protest till the filing of the final report in their respective cases and they should not cause any law and order problem. The petitioners shall comply with the conditions stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

4.The petitioners shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail shall stand dismissed.

5.If the prosecution intends to implicate the petitioners in any other case, the prosecution shall give notice under Section 41 A of Cr.P.C so as to give breathing time to the petitioners to move this Court for anticipatory bail.
