RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to extend the time granted in the above Crl.O.P(MD)No.6939 of 2020 order dated 15.07.2020 for further period to deposit the amount before the Judicial Magistrate, Tenkasi.

Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.MAHALAKSHMI, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mrs.M.ANANTHA DEVI, Government Advocate(Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondent and Mr.A.K.GOPALAN, Advocate for the Intervenor, the Court made the following order:- This matter is listed today under the caption "for reporting compliance".

2.Earlier, this Court, by order dated 06.10.2020, in Crl.M.P (MD)No.4966 of 2020 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.6939 of 2020, directed the petitioner to deposit the remaining amount of Rs.18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen lakhs only) within a period of four weeks from that day, failing which, this petition shall stand cancelled automatically without any further reference to this Court.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was trying to mortgage his house for paying the remaining amount, but due to lock down owing to COVID-19 pandemic situation, the petitioner could not mortgage the same in time and hence he seeks further time to deposit the said amount. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

CRL MP(MD) No.4966 of 2020 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, time granted by this Court vide order dated 06.10.2020 in Crl.M.P.(MD). No.4966 of 2020 in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.6939 of 2020 is extended till 02.12.2020 for depositing the remaining amount of Rs.18,00,000/- (Rupees Eighteen lakhs only) failing which, this petition shall stand dismissed automatically without any further reference to this Court.
