Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court To issue a Writ of Mandamus , directing the respondents to provide medical reimbursement to the tune of Rs.3,63,910/- (Three Lakh Sixty Three Thousand and Nine Hundred and Ten Rupees only) to the Petitioner along with interest at the rate of 12 percentage per annum for the delayed payment in the light of the Judgement of the Hon`ble Supreme Court in Shiv Kant Jha Vs Union Of India reported in AIR 2018 SC 1975 and Judgement of the Hon`ble Madurai Bench of Madras High Court on W.P.(MD)No. 13429 of 2013 dt 28.05.2019.

The present Contempt Petition has been filed alleging non compliance of the order dated 11.11.2020 made in W.P.(MD)No.15952 of 2020.
2. The learned Standing Counsel for State appearing for the respondent submitted that as per the direction issued by this Court, the District Level Empowered Committee has considered the representation of the petitioner and recommended the case in Category-II of the guidelines issued by the Government and an amount of Rs.1,17,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Seventeen Thousand only) has been sanctioned vide G.O.(D)No.16, Finance (Salaries) Department dated 17.02.2021. Based on the said sanction, a sum of Rs.1,17,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Seventeen Thousand only) has been disbursed to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
Cont.P.(MD) No.935 of 2021 petitioner on 19.03.2021.
3. According to the petitioner, she has not received the said amount so far.
4. Therefore, the respondent is directed to communicate the said order passed by the District Level Empowered Committee to the petitioner, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If the petitioner is aggrieved by the said order, it is for the petitioner to work out her remedy before the appropriate forum.
5. With the above said observation, this Contempt Petition is closed.
