Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's son viz., Naveen Kumar S/o.Thavamani, aged about 20 years, before this Court, who is under the illegal custody of the respondent No.3 and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The father of the detenu by name Naveen Kumar, aged about 20 years, has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition alleging that the third respondent herein has illegally abducted him. In this regard, he has already given a complaint to the second respondent Police. As there was no response to the same, he has come up with this petition.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the detenu was produced before this Court by the second respondent Police. When we enquired, the detenu told that he has not been abducted or illegally detained by anybody. He has further told that now he married a girl aged about 19 years and that he is not willing to go along with the petitioner. 3.In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Hence, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with liberty to the detenu to choose his own way of life.
