Heard both sides.

2. The petitioner's husband Rathinavel Raja passed away on 24.03.2024. A girl child was born through the wedlock. The child is now with the writ petitioner. It appears that there was some strain in the marital relationship between the parties.

3. Be that as it may, the question that calls for consideration is regarding disbursement of the insurance amount. It is not in dispute that the second respondent is the nominee. LIC obviously has to disburse the insurance amount only to the second respondent. The second respondent is directed to submit claim form in this regard. The second respondent through his counsel gave an undertaking before this Court immediately after the insurance amount received from the first respondent, 50% of the same will be credited to the account of the petitioner herein. The learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to furnish the bank account particulars of the petitioner to the learned counsel for the second respondent.

4. Recording the said undertaking, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
