Criminal Original Petition filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C praying to direct the learned Special Court (PCR Act cases) Sivagangai to consider the bail application that will be filed by the petitioners in Crime No. 61/2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Devakottai taluk Police station, Sivagangai District Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.SANJAY.S.M, Advocate for the petitioner and of Mr.S.Kottai Chamy, Government Advocate(Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondents 1 & 2, the court made the following order:- This Petition is filed to extend the time as directed by this Court in Crl.O.P. (MD)No.3918 of 2024 vide order dated 12.03.2024, to surrender the petitioners before the learned District and Sessions Judge (PCR Act Cases), Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Sivagangai, in Crime No.61 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent police.
2. This Court vide order dated 12.03.2024 allowed the petition with certain conditions. However, the petitioners failed to comply with the conditions in time. 2/4
This application seeking extension of time is filed nearly after expiry of one month time.
3. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to extend the time. Accordingly, this Petition is dismissed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh petition.
