ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM,J.) Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 2 The petitioner has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition to secure his father. According to the petitioner, he is missing.
3. The respondent police, after registering the case, investigated the matter and found that the petitioner's father suffered with a head injury on account of falling of a branch of tree on his head. The petitioner's father was in coma stage for a long time and subsequently recovered and suffering from selective amnesia and he is under treatment.
4. Since the respondent police have done extensive investigation and has filed status report which shows that inspite of best efforts, the whereabouts of the petitioner's father are not https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
known. Thus we are of the view that it is not a case of illegal detention. But we are of the view that the petitioner's father has gone missing on his own volition due to his medical condition.
