Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents to rectify the town map in respect of T.S.No.23 for an extent of 2125 Sq.ft. which is located at Ward No.J, Block No.14, D.No.53, New Reddy Street, Beema Nagar, K.Abishekapuram Village, Thiruchirapalli, on the basis of petitioner's representation, dated 18.03.2020, within a time frame fixed by this Court and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus directing the respondents to rectify the town map in respect of T.S.No.23 for an extent of 2125 square feet, which is located at Ward No.J, Block No.14, D.No.53, New Reddy Street, Beema Nagar, K.Abishekapuram Village, Thiruchirapalli, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 18.03.2020. 2.Heard Mr.K.Arunraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Pandiarajan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents.

3.According to the petitioner, she purchased the house property admeasuring 2125 square feet, comprised in T.S.No.23, located at Ward No.J, Block No.14, D.No.53, New Reddy Street, Beema Nagar, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD)No.11382 of 2020 K.Abishekapuram Village, Thiruchirapalli on 11.07.2007 and she is in possession and enjoyment of the same. Since, in the town map, there is difference with regard to the measurements on the four sides of the said property, she made several representations to the respondents to rectify the same and the last one is dated 18.03.2020. Since no action has been taken so far, the petitioner has come up with the present writ petition.

4.Considering the limited scope of the matter, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 18.03.2020 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and the interested parties, if necessary, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.The Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above direction. No costs.
