PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2019 to pass orders granting patta for the lands in Survey Nos.733/8, 613/4, 734, 735/2 situated in Sivayam Village, Kuppatchipatti, Karur District in the name of petitioner's family deities Sri Ellaiamman and Sri Vinayagar Temple, Kuppatchipatti.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a Mandamus directing the second respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.03.2019 to pass orders granting patta for the lands in Survey Nos. 733/8, 613/4, 734, 735/2 situated in Sivayam Village, Kuppatchipatti, Karur District in the name of petitioner's family deities Sri Ellaiamman and Sri Vinayagar Temple, Kuppatchipatti.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side.

3. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.03.2019, after issuing the notice to the proposed respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Before considering the representation of the petitioner, the third respondent shall afford a reasonable opportunities to the petitioner and all interested parties.

4. This writ petition stands disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs.
