ORDER

The petitioners, who are accused in Crime No.32 of 2025, have filed this petition seeking to quash the FIR in Crime No.32 of 2025, which were registered against them for the offences under Sections 189(2), 223, 292 of BNS 2023, on the file of the respondent Police.

2. When this petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submits that final report has already been filed in Cr.No.32 of 2025 through e-filing on 09.04.2025.

3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) that the final report has already been filed, without ascertaining the materials which are relied on by the respondent police in the final report, this Court is not inclined to proceed with the available FIR. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioners to challenge the final report, if they are having any 2/4

grounds. The respondent Police shall ensure that the final report is taken on file within a reasonable time. It is not only the responsibility of the respondent Police, the trial Court is also expected to take the final report on file, without any delay.
