ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) This Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed alleging that one K.Karpagam, aged 48 years, who is mentally ill, has been found missing.

2. When the Habeas Corpus Petition came up for hearing on 10.08.2016, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner. The matter was directed to be listed today (15.09.2016). Today also, there is no representation.

3. In the status report dated 20.07.2016 filed by the Inspector of Police, steps taken in the matter of investigation have been narrated. We are satisfied with the same. Since there is no illegal detention and it is a simple case of missing of a mentally ill woman, we are not in a position to issue any https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

direction as prayed for. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, however, with the observation that the investigation shall go on.
