PRAYER: Criminal Revision filed Under Section 397 (1) r/w Section 401 of the code of Cr.P.C., to call for the records and set-aside the judgment dated 12.09.2012 passed in Crl.A.No.24 of 2011 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Theni at Periakulam, confirming the conviction and sentence imposed upon the Petitioner in S.T.C.No.1447 of 2008 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, dated 11.07.2011 and acquit the petitioner.

ORDER
This Criminal Revision Petition has been filed to call for the records and to set-aside the judgment dated 12.09.2012 passed in Crl.A.No.24 of 2011 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Theni at Periakulam, confirming the conviction and sentence imposed upon the Petitioner in S.T.C.No.1447 of 2008 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Uthamapalayam, Theni District, dated 11.07.2011 and to acquit the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent.
3. The parties have entered into compromise and a Joint Compromise Memo, signed by both parties, in the presence of their respective counsel, is also filed. As per the Joint Compromise Memo, the complainant, namely, the respondent has agreed for setting aside the judgment dated 12.09.2012 passed in Crl.A.No.24 of 2011 on the file of the learned Additional District and Sessions Court, Theni at Periakulam.
4.Having regard to the specific terms of the Joint Compromise Memo, this Court is of the view that no useful purpose will be served by keeping this matter pending. Hence the judgment dated 12.09.2012 passed in Crl.A.No.24 of 2011 on the file of the Additional District and Sessions Court, Theni at Periakulam, is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
set aside. The Joint Compromise Memo signed by the parties shall form part of the order.
