This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the second respondent to constitute a Committee under the provisions of Sections 205 and 206 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994, consequent to the representation submitted by the petitioner.

Let me not enter into any discussion because the learned Special Government Pleader, who had taken notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3, stated that one Veerasamy, Assistant Director, has now been appointed as Enquiry Officer and he had conducted enquiry and had submitted a report on 07.03.2023.

In view of the same, the petitioner may address further representation to the second respondent seeking a copy of the enquiry and if it is permissible, the second respondent may furnish a copy and the petitioner may thereafter work out his remedy in accordance with the findings given in the enquiry. If any further orders are required to be passed by the second respondent, it should be passed within a reasonable time.
4. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
