O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the second respondent to give police protection to the petitioner's life and limb, on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 05.03.2025.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the third respondent caused life threat to the petitioner. Thereby, he lodged a complaint before the second respondent on 05.03.2025 but no action was taken. Hence, he filed this petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint against the third respondent, who is none other than, the brother of the petitioner and there is a property dispute pending between them. While so, the petitioner lodged the complaint before the second respondent on 05.03.2025 and the same is under consideration in C.S.R.No.207 of 2025. They will conduct enquiry and take appropriate action in accordance with law.

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, Page No. 2 of 4

without issuing notice to the third respondent, is inclined to pass orders.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation to the second respondent for police protection as against the third respondent and the second respondent also admitted the receipt of the complaint and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner and dispose of the same, after affording opportunity to both the parties in accordance with law within a period of 15 days from the date of this order.

6. With the abovesaid observations and directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
