ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to grant permission and accord protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be held on 28.07.2018 at 09.00 pm., to 29.07.2018 at 09.00 am., for one day in Somu Sait ground, Eruvadi, Nanguneri, Tirunelvei District.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner made a representation, dated 23.07.2018 to the respondents to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled on 28.07.2018 at 09.00 pm., to 29.07.2018 at 09.00 am., for one day held in Somu Sait ground, Eruvadi, Nanguneri, Tirunelvei District. But no action has been taken on the said representation so far. Therefore, the present writ petition is filed before this Court.

4.In reply to the above submission, the learned counsel counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has enclosed the postal receipt of the representation in the typed set of papers.

5.Taking into account of the said fact without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 23.07.2018 on merits and in accordance with law on or before 28.07.2018. However, it is needles to mention that the petitioner shall resubmit the representation to the respondents along with the copy of this order.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
