This petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioners from the respondent Nos.3 to 8.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the private respondents compelled the petitioners to sell the property to them which was refused by them. Hence, they are making trouble to the petitioners.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that based on the representation made by the petitioners, enquiry was undertaken in C.S.R.No.296 of 2021 and during the course of enquiry, the petitioners appeared before the enquiry Officer and gave statement to the effect that it is a land dispute and they will resolve the dispute through civil proceedings. Hence, the complaint was closed on 14.09.2021.

4. Since the representation made by the petitioners was closed, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
