O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to not to harass the petitioner in the guise of an enquiry.

2.According to the petitioner, there is a dispute in respect of administration of church, thereby, the third respondent lodged a complaint against the petitioner. Taking advantage of the same, the second respondent called the petitioner and harassed him under the guise of enquiry and insisted him to sign in the papers. In this regard, the petitioner has sent a representation on 09.04.2025 and the same has not been considered.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the petitioner was the erstwhile Office bearer of the church and the third respondent is the current Office bearer. Based on the complaint of the 3rd respondent, they have called the petitioner only for enquiry purpose. Apart from that they have not harassed the petitioner. However, the enquiry is pending based on complaint lodged by the third respondent.

4.Considering the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to pass orders without issuing notice to the private respondent.

5.According to the petitioner, the respondent police harassed the petitioner on the guise of enquiry and the same was denied by the respondent police and stated that they have called the petitioner for enquiry, based on the complaint lodged by the third respondent. 6.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police, this Court hereby directs the second respondent to dispose of the complaint of the third respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

7.With the above directions and observations, this petition stands disposed of.
