O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai District to dispose of the case in S.C.No.352 of 2021 within the stipulated period. 2.According to the petitioner, the petitioner is the defacto complainant in this case. Based on her complaint, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Cr.No.193 of 2020 against the accused persons. Though the case has been registered in the year 2020, so far trial has not been commenced. Therefore, seeks for speedy disposal this petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that based on the complaint of the petitioner, a case has been registered in Cr.No.193 of 2020 for the offence punishable under Section 174(3) of Cr.P.C, thereafter, altered into Section 304(B) IPC. After completion of investigation, they have filed final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court and after committal, now trial is pending before the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai District in S.C No.354 of 2021. The respondent police is ready to produce the witnesses 2/4

as directed by the trial Court and co-operate to complete the trial proceedings.

4.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and also considering the long pendency of the case, this Court hereby direct the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Madurai District to complete the trial proceedings in S.C.No.352 of 2021 as early as possible without giving long adjournments, beyond 1 week. 5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
